Second Nature Lucius
Lucius is a four piece band fronted by Holly Laesigg and Jess Wolfe, who are not related, but dress like twins. Second Nature is their fourth album and is produced by Brandi Carlisle and Dave Cobb. Despite the country credentials of the producers, the album has a more disco feel than their past work.
Radiate Like This Warpaint
Warpaint is a long-time favorite of Jim and Greg. The group has been busy with a variety of other projects in recent years. Their new album, Radiate Like This, was begun in 2020, but was completed over the past two years individually by the band members.
Lenny Kaye
Jim and Greg talk with Lenny Kaye about his fourth book, “Lightning Striking: Ten Transformative Moments in Rock and Roll.” They talk about Lenny's work compiling the Nuggets garage rock compilation and his work playing guitar in the Patti Smith Group as well.

Dear Listeners,
For more than 15 years, Sound Opinions was a production of WBEZ, Chicago's public radio station. Now that the show is independent, we're inviting you to join the band and lend a hand! We need your support more than ever because now we have to do all the behind-the-scenes work that WBEZ handled before (like buying insurance and paying for podcast hosting, ugh). Plus, we have some exciting ideas we'd like to try now that there's no one to tell us no!
